A clearer trail and a smoother shared world

  • Town happenings: added a welcome for each first-time character, removed redundant character labels and game-day codes from news, limited news to the 20 most recent events, and kept routine wilderness encounters in the personal journal rather than town news.
  • Typography: replaced em dashes with standard typed hyphens in page titles, headings and game text.
  • Site information: added a common C Bianchi LLC copyright footer, a dedicated Change Log, and updated Privacy Policy and Terms of Service pages with the privacy contact privacy@cbianchillc.com.
  • Wilderness layout: Choose a trail now appears before the exploration card. Card titles, descriptions, and exploration/continuation buttons match the selected Glade, Watchtower, or Catacombs route.
  • Encounter artwork: added illustrated cards for all 24 creatures and four choice-based forest discoveries, with optimized artwork and responsive layouts.
  • Sage access: fixed first and returning Sanctuary visits so travel and the Sage’s greeting work together.
  • Training: prevented capped ability scores from blocking further play. When all six abilities reach 20, remaining training choices become +2 maximum HP each; affected saved characters are handled automatically.
  • Dungeon planning: entering an expedition requires three turns. Players can abandon an expedition between battles without a turn refund; Flee and Explore availability now matches encounter rules.
  • Combat bonuses: aligned displayed attack/defense with resolved combat, including tavern favors, well blessings, mounts, familiars, equipment and temporary guard. Wizard focuses now contribute to spell damage.
  • Class abilities: signature abilities recover after two other battle actions. Cleric Mending Light heals instead of also attacking. Combat cards show damage/healing previews and recovery status.
  • Inventory: identical consumables stack with visible quantities, while existing item counts are preserved. The draught chooser shows available potions and useful healing ranges.
  • Town convenience: added Deposit all and Withdraw all, equipment comparisons, and clearer handling of ineffective healing or focus use. Town-post feedback uses the fresh posted result.
  • Reliable actions: improved simultaneous-play safety, repeated-click protection, interrupted-request recovery, and handling of stale character state across tabs.
  • Daily transitions: synchronized dawn rewards, revival and interest with server state, including refreshing when returning to a tab.
  • Interface continuity: routine updates preserve drafts and focus. Community refreshes request relevant data, preserve partial successes, and pause in hidden tabs.
  • Mobile and accessibility: added persistent HP, turn and dawn information, clearer narrow-screen headers, keyboard-friendly dialogs, Escape/focus restoration, status announcements and reduced-motion support.
  • Loading and release reliability: improved asset caching, compression, deployment verification, backups and saved-profile compatibility. Added regression coverage and seeded gameplay simulations using the actual combat and progression rules.

The realm opens, and new companions arrive

  • Production launch: brought the hosted game to wynderwood.com with account-backed progress and separate development and production worlds.
  • Location persistence: restored the player’s last location after refresh or sign-in; unfinished battles, forest choices and expeditions return players to the wilderness.
  • Encounter safeguards: strengthened location and encounter checks so travel, banking and town services respect the character’s current situation.
  • More creatures: expanded the encounter roster across the Whispering Glade, Old Watchtower and Ancient Catacombs, with level-gated statistics, rewards and descriptions.
  • Shared game days: aligned resets, the sky tracker and game timestamps to 06:00 and 18:00 UTC.
  • The Stable: added seven mounts with escalating prices and trail benefits, unlocked after five completed adventures. Selected daily mount benefits change at the next dawn.
  • NPC portraits: added portraits to town conversations, the Sage’s Sanctuary and inn companion interactions, with responsive presentation and layered panel styling.
  • Daily town contracts: added short exploration and creature-hunting tasks with gold/XP rewards, plus support for existing saved characters.
  • Creature journal: began recording creature sightings and defeated counts across adventures.
  • Familiar Grove: added woodland companions and their small benefits for adventurers who have completed ten adventures.
  • Account and mobile refinements: continued improving weekly adventurer-name changes, navigation, account messaging, public-page presentation and hosted release consistency.

  • A shared world: added server-validated character actions, durable account/world storage, player discovery and rankings, town happenings, persistent guilds, consent-based friendly duels, and reporting/moderation tools.
  • Unified accounts: moved toward a single email-verified account flow with email sign-in, password recovery, case-insensitive name uniqueness and preserved display capitalization.
  • Presentation: introduced illustrated area backdrops, original navigation icons, a sun/moon tracker, the daily-turn meter, keyboard navigation shortcuts, clearer NPC cooldowns and responsive layouts.
  • Hosting foundations: established the development deployment and transactional account email support before the production opening.
